Hello and welcome to my very first blog post! I am much more of a visual person than a writer - as you can probably see from my Instagram and Facebook profiles! I do however want to tell you a bit about my new range of tote bags. I have been working with a wonderful company called BIDBI (short for Bag It Don't Bin It) who acquire gorgeous Fairtrade 100% cotton bags from India. They then print them up here in the UK using environmentally friendly production methods...honestly they really do tick all of the super boxes! I have had four floral designs made up, each one a bit different. On one end of the scale I have 'Sweetie Bag' which is a blocky bright colour print and at the other end I have 'Forget Me Not' which is a lovely subtle Autumnal print.
Recently I have been trying to live a much more ethical and fulfilled life, filtering into everything including food, clothing, environmental protection, sustainability...you name it! With these bags I thought I had the perfect opportunity to give something back to a cause which I hold really rather close to my heart. The Bumblebee Conservation Trust does such wonderful work in educating about and protecting these essential wee pollinators throughout the UK. Bee populations are on the decline and more needs to be done to help their plight. For this reason I have decided to work in partnership with the Trust so that for every bag bought, £1 will be donated directly to help them undertake their important bzzzzziness!
So, if you like what you hear and what you see why not check out the bags for yourself. They are great for carrying about bits and bobs and make excellent presents.
